Training is key in Sea Scouts. It ensures
safety at sea, developes character and self confidence, and prepares
members for rank advancement and leadership positions. Ship-11 conducts
regular training activities, whether it be tabletop excercises at each
meeting or at one of our excursions. Every outing presents a training
opportunity, to Sea Base to prepare
for competitions, the Fire Department Regional Training Center for
a live fuel firefighting drill, or King Harbor
Yacht Club in Redondo Beach, where Chuck's boat is docked.
